Welcome to Creek and Meadow Veterinary Hospital, where we provide compassionate and quality care for your sheep, goats, llamas, and alpacas. Whether you have a large flock, herd or a few pets, we are here to help you keep them healthy and happy. We offer both in-clinic and ambulatory services to meet the needs of our clients and patients.
At Creek and Meadow Veterinary Hospital, we care for your sheep and goats with compassion and quality. We offer a range of services, from farm calls and haul-in services to routine surgeries and emergency services. We can help you with herd health programs, reproductive services, tagging/identification, and certificates of veterinary inspection/health certificates. We are also USDA accredited and FAMACHA trained. One of our main focuses is parasite prevention and control. We can provide you with parasite prevention plans, fecal testing, deworming, and FAMACHA system training. We also offer routine vaccinations to protect your animals from common diseases. Parasites and diseases can affect the health and productivity of your flock, so it is important to have a good deworming and vaccination program. Farm Calls and Haul-In Services - We can come to your farm or you can bring your animals to our hospital. We have a fully equipped mobile vet truck and a spacious facility to accommodate your needs.
Examinations - We perform thorough physical exams to assess the health status of your animals and detect any problems early.
Routine Herd Health Work - We provide routine vaccinations, deworming, fecal testing, blood testing, and other preventive measures to keep your herd healthy and productive. We can also design customized herd health programs based on your goals, management practices, and environmental factors. We can help you with nutrition, reproduction, parasite control, biosecurity, and more.
FAMACHA Training - We can teach you how to use the FAMACHA system, a simple and effective tool to monitor the anemia level of your animals and determine the need for deworming. Also help you develop parasite prevention plans based on the risk factors and parasite load of your animals. We can advise you on the best dewormers, dosages, frequencies, and methods of administration.
Certificates of Veterinary Inspection/Health Certificates
We can issue certificates of veterinary inspection or health certificates for your animals if you need to transport them across state lines or to shows, fairs, or markets.
Tagging/Identification - Provide ear tags, microchips, tattoos, or other forms of identification for your animals to comply with state and federal regulations and traceability programs.
